It would be cool to be able to rename my movies after they have been compressed.

It would also be cool to be able to choose different compression settings per movie when I add them to the queue.

Thanks for the great software!

So zigzag? when are we getting a iCal sync? or a app for the PSP where we can upload and manage our agenda?

Kristian,

What would you envision your iCal data syncing to on the PSP? The PSPWare folks really can't put any custom apps on the PSP until Sony releases a development kit. (I don't think the PSPWare folks want to get into developing apps to run on the PSP until Sony supports that.)

One thing I'd like to see in PSPWare is the ability to fire off an arbitrary program on the Mac/Windows box when sync begins. I've got an AppleScript about 80% written that iterates through the records in the Address Book application in OS X and builds an HTML file from them. If I can use PSPWare to automatically run that, and then sync the resulting file to the PSP for viewing in the browser, I've got a viable read-only address book on the PSP. (I'd like to do the same for iCal, but the scripting is tougher for that, and I haven't had the time to work that out.)

If anybody's interested in the Address Book to HTML script, by the way, I'll be happy to post it once it's finished.

Sean

How about a dropbox for firmware upgrades?

Thanks Sean, I guess your right! I really never thought about that. But good idea on the Address Book project, good luck with that! ;-)

add syncing of iCal events, Adressbook entry, news from Newsreaders (Vienna, NetNewsWire) as static html pages as an PSP offline portal

I'd like to further crashtron's ebook request.

If there was a way to, say, save webarchives from Safari and have them dumped to the PSP, that would be great. Problem is, there is no file browser in the web browser yet, so you would also want to sync the file://location to the PSP's bookmarks so you could get at it. I'd love to be able to 'scrape' a page and sync it to the PSP for reading offline. Right now I open a few pages on the PSP in tabs while I am near the hotspot, then walk out the door. Problem with this is, if you quit the browser, the pages are gone.

i would like to see the PSPWare icon in the menu bar (OSX) be like other icons where you can remove it from the menu bar by holding the apple(command) key while dragging it off the menu bar.

Iac: Your feelings about iPods aside, iTunes is still the best music management application out there.

macosx: What you're asking is basically impossible. You want a menu extra instead of a status item. But the problem with menu extras is they're not as powerful as status items, and writing a third-party one requires "hacking" the OS to get it to accept your menu extra (this "hack" generally exists as a specific Unsanity Haxie bundle called Menu Extra Enabler). Sure, it would be nice to be able to rearrange the status items, but you can't. Go file a bug with Apple requesting that.

Note: You guys really should remove the stupid little anti-hack/whatever javascript that prevents me from saying "hack" in my text. It's extremely easy to work around and just serves to interfere with legit posts, like this one.

Add bi-directional syncing, now that we can download content to the PSP directly. I'd like it to get onto my Mac. Or at least don't delete these items on my sync. It's annoying to download some things, plug it into my Mac and "pop", they're gone. :/

I would defintely like to see
1. A way to choose a subtitle file to be embedded into a movie (for fansubs)
2. A size display to show me before a sync if I will be able to squeeze it into my 256M memory card
