It would be cool to be able to rename my movies after they have been compressed.

It would also be cool to be able to choose different compression settings per movie when I add them to the queue.

Thanks for the great software!

i've noticed on the video that i encode at "normal" quality there is a bit more artifacting than i would like, so i was going to switch it up a notch before i noticed how much more space that would take up on my memory stick. normal is approx 160.8mb/h vs normal-high is 293.6mb/h. is it possible to add additional more than just 5 setting levels for quality?

tbird9: yes, we'll look at doing that in a future update, but such gradual changes in file size willl also result in very gradual improvements over all (if any) in video quality.

I really would love to be able to sort and organize movies into folders inside the program. I have about 40 videos converted and it gets annoying to keep scrolling up and down.

I second the idea of being able to rename videos.

A few new ideas:
1. allow PSPWare to automatically turn off the PSP's backlight before syncing and power off the PSP when finished - would make for completely unattended syncs.
2. add an option to split large video files into 2 or more separate files upon transcoding - for those of us unwilling to buy 1 gb cards, but also unwilling to sacrifice quality.
3. allow individual items to be selected from iTunes playlists.
4. allow the blue message bar to display the progress bar durning a sync.
5. make the Dropbox a single folder - PSPWare would distribute files into the appropriate places automatically, based on file extension.

Additional votes for previous ideas:
6. display the total size of checked items to sync (including Dropbox).
7. add an eBook option, turning text files into images. - the current software options leave plenty to be desired. And, why would anyone want to use anything but PSPWare?

For unattended syncing, just make sure the PSP is set to sleep itself after a few minutes of no activity, and have PSPWare eject your PSP when it's done syncing. Whenever I sync, if I leave my PSP there it shuts off the backlight after a minute or so, and after 5 minutes it puts itself to sleep.

I would like to see the movies that are in cue to be converted remain if the computer reboots.

You can rename your movies. Just rename the folder within the converted movie folder from your PSPWare folder. I didn't mean to say 'folder' so many times but that's how it came out.

I *really* want the ability to re-sample audio and re-scale photos. I know can use other apps to rescale/convert, but if I do that manual process, I can take another 30 seconds to draq and drop 'em. Also, "The other" Mac PSP sync tool does both conversions, so although it's clunky, I use it instead, although I like the "sync" concept a lot more, and would really like to switch.

Also, I'd like a "convert these videos" dropbox, so subscribed video blogs could be automagically converted overnight, which is when they get downloaded.

Slso if on the main pspware page, I could find "what's in this release" list, that'd make more sense to me. Going to VersionTracker to find that out seems odd.

would it be possible manage/edit our memory stick profiles in offline mode - i'd like to drop movies onto PSPWare to start converting, and set up one memory stick for film trailers, one for comics and manga, one for tv shows or something like that..... but it'd be nice to be able to do it without having to have the psp connected

i want to create my own picture for my browser. It's cool that it changes color each month but changing my own wallpaper would be even cooler

i fear that level of modification is probably a little beyond the scope of PSPWare
would be cool though

illitrate23: you can start a conversion and then disconnect the psp and insert another card if you wish. The conversion will not cancel.

mustardseed: Already in the latest version, volume is boosted for all conversions.
