It would be cool to be able to rename my movies after they have been compressed.
It would also be cool to be able to choose different compression settings per movie when I add them to the queue.
Thanks for the great software! +

Ability to adjust compression rate of photos when synching.
Ability to see progress / time left when encoding movies.
Make it a real Mac app in it's behavior re: the dock, etc.
Many of the features suggested by "Coyote" above I would second those.
Ability to sync PSP movies already encoded for the PSP.
Thanks!

I already registered and find the app fantastic but, when trying to put one of my iPhoto folders into my PSP I noticed the issue was the images were in PNG. Hence my feature request is...
Automatically convert image file formats (png and gif) to the unfortunate jpeg file format which is the only thing PSP supports. Most important!
2nd thought on this same topic... an option to re-encode music files to smaller (say 128 instead of the usual 192 that people tend to rip at) for us of those with smaller memory sticks.
keep up the good work! terribly sorry if any of this has been mentioned before or is already in the works...

My most wanted list:
(1) ability to resample music to a different rate than is in iTunes
(2) and eject button on the status screen
(3) ability to join multiple VOB files after encoding
(4) ability to rename imported videos
(5) display the specifics of the video encoding options Low, Normal, High (ie. fps, sample rate, etc)
Overall, very good app. Just be very careful of feature-itis.

I'D LIKE TO SEE PSPWare BE ABLE TO CONVERT .DV FILES TO .MP4 FOR PSP PLAYBACK.
ALSO...............
CAN FOR FORUM ADMINS DELETE ALL THE PC RETARDS OFF TOPIC POSTS.... IT WOULD BE NICE TO CLEAN HOUSE.

I'm not sure that this is true. Save game icons, for example, are in PNG format. Why wouldn't Sony support PNG for photos?

good question. try uploading some png files to your photos folder on your card and see if you can pull them up in the on board psp photo reader... last i checked this didn't work.
hence the need for auto-converting to jpeg...

I just registered PSPWare; not too shabby!
The only downside is the limitations on video support - I realize the problems you're wrestling with here, what with licensing of codecs and all - but would you consider at least exposing parts of the command line options for ffmpeg, etc.? In converting my home movies I'm seeing a real problem with the sound getting out of sync with the video, and it would be nice to be able to tweak some of the settings.

let you know the combined size of the selected items to sync so that you dont go over the MemoryStick size.

All my iTunes music files are ripped to AAC format (.m4a) and the ITMS files are .m4p. Neither of these work on the PSP without burning them to CD and then ripping them as .mp3, so I would LOVE to see an on-the-fly converter to .mp3 that works the same way as the video section does. Just select an iTunes Playlist and have it converted to .mp3 and ready to sync. That would rule because there's no way I'm converting any of my existing music and taking up more hard drive space for the same songs. I'd sooner just use my iPod.

iTunes Syncing - I keep my iTunes library and music files outside of my user directories, because I share the music between user accounts on my computer. To do this, I have aliases to my libraries in my both my user accounts ~/Music/iTunes folder, but PSPWare doesn't seem to want to follow the aliases. If I move the actual library file to the that directory, PSPWare reads it fine.

Hi! I would like to see the Maximum Transcoding Quality improved! - No need to overcomplicate the Movie section of the PSP GUI, but just up the data rate of the max quality to squeeze more quality out for those of us with bigger sticks.
Thanks for the app! it's outstanding!

Oh , and the option to set the frame rate of the encoded clip - All of my DVDs are PAL (25fps) and PSP ware encodes at NTSC (29.97) no matter what.
Cheers!
