thread starter
It would be cool to be able to rename my movies after they have been compressed.
It would also be cool to be able to choose different compression settings per movie when I add them to the queue.
Thanks for the great software! +

Well i've already said it but i'll add it to the proper thread this time
A timeline indicator that shows you how long it's going to take to encode your movie and how much time you have left.

In addition to some of the forementioned movie conversion ideas/suggestions, I would LOVE to see the ability to crop movies (image size, not length). I have so many 16:9 movie files that actually still have the black bars at the top and bottom, and when I convert them for use on the PSP it just keeps them in there as opposed to letting me crop them out (for use on the PSP's 16x9 screen).
Regardless this is a great app and I foresee it only getting better and better.
Thanks.

The options section of the Movies tab allows for 4:3 or 16:9 apect ratios. However, PSPWare *stretches* the original material to make it fit, instead of letterboxing. At the very least, letterboxing video should be an option.

psp video 9 does all thoose features

Just following up on my earlier post about preserving aspect ratios, cropping would be a good option for some cases (like 2.35:1 trailers cropped to 16:9). Also, a higher quality of video and audio compression would be good. The current "high" quality setting introduces too much blockiness into my formerly crisp video files.
The PSP has such amazing resolution that you really see the compression flaws. I don't mind if the resulting file is only incrementally smaller than the original, so if you could extend the options for compression for the videophiles who are among your early adopters, that would be great. Thanks for an amazing piece of software, I wouldn't care or bother to register on this forum if I wasn't already incredibly impressed with the product.

I would love a qwerty keyboard rather than the cell phoneone it has

My feature requests...
1) An eject button on the System Info page, and show / alter the name of the Memory Stick
2) Auto conversion of non-MP3 audio files (M4A, etc.) like iPSP does
3) Agreed that an icon in the dock with triangle is needed
So far, this program works pretty well... hoping that 2.0 brings about some good things
+
1) Make this a 'real' application, so that I can command-tab to it, and so that it appears in the dock as running.
2) The ability to sync iTunes playlists, and to have AAC files automatically converted to MP3, with conversion (quality) parameters specified by me.
3) The ability to have my converted movies stored in my 'Movies' folder. While it makes sense to have saved games stored in 'Documents', movies should be stored in 'Movies' and music converted (see #2) should be stored in Music.
4) The ability to sync movies already in PSP format (i.e., downloads from psp.connect.com)
5) Movie conversion with automatic aspect ratios, which would preserve the exact ratio of the imported film, adding letter-boxing if necessary.
6) As someone already mentioned, the ability to specify cropping to eliminate letter-boxing already in movies.
7) Options to down-size images when moving them to the PSP. Multiples of PSP screen size would be a nice option. (I.e., downsize images to 3x screen size.)
8) Support for PNG images
Things I DON'T want:
1) Support for contacts as images. This is a waste.
2) Support for RSS feeds as images. (Though support for downloaded web content for the built-in browser might be nice, it's a low priority.)

I'd just like to see PSPWare in my Dock, so when I Command-Tab, F9 in Expose, or can just see it in the Dock to bring it back up.
Also, if I already have the movie encoded for PSP use, I'd like PSPWare to just recognize that and add it in instead of trying to convert it again.
Great product, and I'm very impressed with it so far.

Don't think this has been mentioned, but: The ability to compress photos when choosing them from iPhoto. I usually shoot above 3M so PSPWare is just picking up the albumn and including it during the sync process, and it gets large, not to mention the battery life used when viewing the large pic... so,the ability to somehow compress the image(s) for say certain sizes, w/in the program itself, that would allow for more room for say...Movies!!

I'd like to add my request for cropping. ffmpegX will auto crop so I assume you can call ffmpeg to do it. Or allow an .mp4 file already processed by ffmpegX to be added.
+
How about this - below the low medium or high settings you should have a box to check called "Custimize Size" or something like that and you can enter the number of MBs you want the movie to be.
+
I got another one how about when you're converting video bar shows your progress and percent.
+
How about making it a resizable window also...when you have a lot of videos and a lot of playlists, it would be nice to see them all at te same time...
