Is it possible to add a key board to browse the web on the PSP? I am able to view web sites, but it takes to long to type each letter through the internet browser. Please Help. thanks +

There are two prototypes I have seen... One made by Logic3 and one by Sony.
The Logic3 keyboard somehow attaches at the bottom and runs a cable to the USB port.
The Sony Keyboard attaches at the top. It is rumored to change based on what the PSP is doing. I saw it showing the configuration of a phone and then with the configuration of a keyboard. Touch sensative maybe.

dam the sony one looks awesome, but the logic3 one is so much more practical, and probly cheaper too

i dont know man... the logic3 one can flip up to a screen protecter... and there better be a cord on the sony one to the bottom, or else im not getting it not being able to see the screen when ur typeing with ur wrist in the way...but it does infact look cool being that its clearedited: Nov 15 2005

I don't like the placement on the top. It just doesn't feel right having to move my hands to the top of the PSP as I type with my thumbs. It would be much more comfortable to type down almost like using two analog sticks because I can still grip the PSP. That's just my opinion though.

News taken from PSPupdates says that the hope for a PSP keyboard is now flushed down. Some guy preordered one for July, but received an e-mail from the company saying: "We are sorry, but due to some technical difficulties, we will cancel your order." The guy, confused, e-mailed the company Logic3 asking why, and they answered: "Thanks for your mail, yes this is correct we are no longer producing or
releasing a keyboard for the Sony PSP.
This decision was made by our product development team, in order to
produce the keyboard we have to acquire certain information & command
protocols from Sony for the PSP which we where unable to obtain.
Thank you for your interest in Logic 3 PSP products."
All hope is lost.

That just means that Sony won't let Logic3 develop a keyboard because Sony is greedy and wants to be the only one allowed to make one. Which is reasonable because it is their product and they should be able to profit from it. Sony will develop one eventually, we might even see one for the 3.00 update, who knows. Just keep hoping man.

I think they are both great ideas. They just need some time to develop them and create firmware that would support them. I think Sony has a lot planned for the PSP, I can't wait for the 3.00 update.

I agree the loss of the logitech keyboard is sad, but I still never understood how one would actually be able to use it? To use both hands you would have to hold the PSP by the keyboard. The weight would be alot. Maybe a touch screen style keypad with a stylus would be more practical. Admittedly not as fast as a keypad, but way more practical.

its a shame that there is no touch screen control for psp isnt it...
