My parents took away my psp and said that when i start acting better they'll give it back. What shoud i do? oh yeah and i want it back really really bad. +

By the way, I am DYING to know (as is everyone reading this) what did you DO to get it taken away? Were you hiding terrorists under your bed?

As a parent, I'm also interesed in knowing what you did that got it taken away. And how old are you? Then we can give you some educated suggestions as to how to "start acting better".

What a did was not study during the (summer). yes my parents are making me study during this summer. I didn't feel like freakin studing during the summer (who would) and i gave them this whole attitdue about it and b4 i even got my psp i wasnt allowed to play anygames or have friends. (any person right in the head should know that if this happped to a kid during their summer they would rebel) which i did and all i got was having friends again and getting my cell phone back and all this other crap. After all this i finally got my psp and i was so happy with it for 1 1/2 days and i threw another rebelion casue my parents were being gay and i got pissed off that my summer was destroyed and they thrashed my psp they didnt just take it away. Not to glorify my point of view the whole reason for this summer thing was because i did bad in school. my avg was 80 and i almost failed my french final.

what did you to your parents so they could take your psp. clean the house and maybe they will give your psp back.

I just asked to do anything my mom wanted and she said nothing i kept insisting that i would help clean the house or something but she siad no and that she desont need help. Wow their so weird why cant they be like americans and say yes and after i do it they'll consider to give my psp back but noooo my parents are gay azns

Okay, most of you guys probably won't agree with this but, here's my suggestions. Take what you think will work and change it to what you think your parents will accept:
Your parents don't want some meaningless apology like saying you'll be better, only to have you be rude a day and a half later -- like last time. They want you to realize that when they bought the thing for you, they were trusting that you would be able to make responsible choices about when to play and when to work on your school work.
Actions will speak louder than words, as the saying goes. Sit down with them and set up an agreement. Have them give you 3 or 4 specific things they want you to change. Set up a period of time for which you have to show them you can work on those things before they'll give you a chance to buy a PSP "with your own money".
Then, each night at dinner, get feedback on whether you met their expectations or not. And don't give them attitude if they tell you that you screwed up. If you disagree, explain your side, but remeber who's in charge (hint: not you).
If I were your parent, I'd expect you to keep up at least 80% of the time.
Once you get your PSP back, expect and if it were me, _SUGGEST_ that you keep up the plan and the feedback. That shows them that you're willing to try and make a real change, not just a change to "get your PSP". And it also gives you a heads up if they're starting to get pissed again. Then you can make the change BEFORE they toss the new PSP in the trash.

Maybe, you should do what they say, they are your parents, and they own your little ass till your 18 years old.
