On Lumines what are people generally scoring on the time attack mode?
I can get 31 squares in 60 seconds and 93 in 180 seconds. Probably very bad scoring but I think this time attack is the best part of Lumines.  +

Make lots of squares. Clear the screen of colors, etc. Just play for a long time and do well.

what do u mean "hear about this"? when i lost i was up to level 268 from the game i got 999999 in under an hour, im trying to survive long enough to get to level 300 and to get 10000 deletes

Well, I never heard about anything that unlocks once someone hits level X and makes Y deletes. Are you trying to unlock something or is this just something you are doing for the fun of it?

oh, no, its just for a personal high cuz once someone reaches 999999, nothing else to accomplish really. anyway, im pretty far, i read some guy got to level 334 with 8000+ deletes, i got work to do

you could try unlocking everything else in the game. that's always fun. I still have 2 things to unlock.

last thing i gotta do is the second wave of puzzle mode...im too impaitent though
aside from that, i like to keep raising the bar on time attack, 150 is the goal for 60 sec

its not that hard, ya gotta glance at whats coming next, i used to that to figure out where to put the blocks to maximize combos while starting new combos as soon as the sweeper deletes the previous ones i made

at 60 seconds? 56 blocks...which i thought was good...because it is almost a block a second.

i remember the days when that was my goal, i realized it was possible a couple hours after my cousin introduced me to that mode. at that time, i sucked in challenge mode, maxed out around 200000 and never tried time attack. and was playing more of tiger woods than lumines

I didn't think it was possible to play that fast.
I'm trying to encode the video to psp but my encoder is screwing up. It makes the video go twice as fast as the sound, so the video is done in a little under 30 seconds but the sound keeps going for sixty. I'm not saying you faked the video, just that my encoder (pspvideo9) seems to not be working correctly.
Hats off to you, though. That is quite impressive.

i wish when i taped it, i woulda gotten 120+. the record i want is 400+ in 180 secs, it seems even harder to get than 150 in 60

I wish when you taped it the video quality had been such that I could convert it to the PSP format.
