Okay everybody, I shouted horay today as I discovered what seems like the one and only driver that allows the Windows 98 SE (win98) operating system to work with the PSP for downloading files to and from the PSP drag and drop style. There are no hitches or problems with the driver, you simply unzip the file from the link below, install, restart, and viola it's done.
So all of you that are having problems with Win98se, you need this file: link
"http://www.vivitar.com/CustService/download/v3615/3615.zip"
It's really a digital camera driver, but works perfectly with the PSP and Duo cards. I've tested the 32mb card and a 128mb duo card as well and they both work. I don't know how large of a card it might accept, there's probably no limit, but if someone does have a problem try and post it here on this thread. +

This driver REALLY does work. I didn't think it was working at first but I went to "My Computer/Add New Hardware" and just went through the menus. Great find.

opps, I just created a new topic on some other drivers that worked for me. If his doesn't work, try this one, nusb22e.exe. Searching google.com should do the trick. Find it, download it, run it, reboot the computer and enjoy.

Why doesn't he just upgrade from Windows 98 to XP?

OK, first connect your psp to your computer using the usb cable. Then put your psp in usb mode. Your computer should then show a new hardware found. When it asks you to look for the driver. show it where you downloaded the driver to and then it should work. Thats what I did when I was still runnning win 98, now I'm on xp.
