After watching a few people play the new mario, I broke down and bought the new DS lite. I was always sceptical of the whole dual-touch-screen thing but I like it a lot. Infact, If it was multimedia capable then I would probably sell the psp (flame away) but I have both so no worries. Games are way more abundant than the PSP which is awsome. I was getting bored with the PSP as there were no games I really wanted to play anymore. Bought the following for it too...new mario bros, mario 64 DS, metroid, Goldeneye, and Sonic. Been completely hooked on the marios and the 64 for DS is great. While the graphics don't quite compare to the PSP obviously, the game play has been more fun than most and the games are definately longer. Still unsure of the touch screen...it works well in metroid as the "look" function...somewhat like using a mouse I guess. Being forced to use it to save a game kinda sucks....would rather just hit A or another button. I am definately a believer in the DS now, for pure game enjoyment its awsome and I would dare to say that its better than the psp. The graphics don't compare as well as the screen res but the level of fun has been more than I was having with the PSP. I am not an avid gamer either but I have been glued to it for a few nights since purchase....so has my fiancee and a couple friends of mine. Just thought I would share....don't count me out for the old psp though...won't leave my sites for awhile. +

Or you could get both the 360 and Wii for about the same price as a PS3 (even lower should you choose 360 Core), which I find pretty hillarious ^^

yeah i know, it would show up same time where i live, but think about it, u do not want alot differenct consoles and a few games for each, when you can buy something 3 times more poweful and with a decent amount of games and accesories (those other consoles do not have accesories ready). well personally i would wait the 4 months extra(or go to import shops), i still have a few ps2 games i havent played and i can save money for my ps3 and its games, + stuff for my psp

Heh, why would you only own “a few games” just because you have more than one console (I’ve got five of ‘em)? I'm 26 and make my own money, so it's really not a problem 
I only invest in the consoles which catch my interest and the PS3 is not one of them, despite its "power". Simple as that

sides, if you say you didnt have fun with the pokemon games back in the day theres something wrong with you

the ps3 does not catch your interest. but the 360 does.that system has been out for year and it has nothin out . this is more of that bs you hear from ps3 haters. sorry. but it is just 200 dollar more, that is not alot. and you are getting what you pay for. you can blow that in a weekend easy. a wii and a 360 would cost you $650 and it would cost more for both systems than just one plus you would have too buy games for both and that would be another 200 if you bought two games for both systems. and if money is not a problem why are caring about the price of the system. get all three.

uhh, whats wrong with that, and hes right, aint it better to own 1 console and a million games for it, or 1 million consoles and 1 or 2 games 4 each?
and about making ur own money im talking from a kid's point of view i guess, which pretty much does not get taken into consideration most of the time, ur more than double my age so...

How did this go from the DS to a PS3/360 fight. If you like the 360 dandy for you, If you like the PS3 good for you, why does everyone feel the need to fight about it? I personally find a PS3 a wast of money, just becuase of the price. Also there are no games on the horizon that even intrest me. That is also why I havent bought the 360. Just no really cool, NEXT GEN, games out yet.The only system that is actually revolutionizing gameplay is the WII ( still a stupid name). So, Im keepin my xbox (path of neo, halo, rainbow six 3...etc) and my PSP ( socom, burnout,lego). When a system comes out or really shows me that it is next gen, then I will save up and get it. I just see no reason in getting all worked up about it. Also, all you PS3 fan boys/girls, look at all the bugs the first line of xbox 360's had! If I get the PS3 then I will wait for sony to get it right.

i dont get so damn defensive. i just put the right infomation because there are people that make up things. i dont make up thing i use real info. some times i might come off defensive but i am not. he just sounded like a sony basher and did not make sence. and tell me kage when do i get so damn defensive everytime something not positive about any sony system is said. i dont, i get defensive when wrong info is put up or somebody just starts to bash it but knows nothin about it. you all ways come out of nowhere and bash one line of what i write and you dont read what i write before or after. when ever i write something to somebody there is a reason and i always put the reason my posts. i dont do what you do, and that is bash what somebody says just to say some smarta$$ remark.edited: Oct 13 2006
