Is it possible to save flash games to the memory card so they can be accessed while not near a wi-fi connection? I am usually not near a wi-fi connection and it would be really cool.

Tempest. Use a computer, preferably Internet Explorer.. visit the site with the game, start the game, wait until it loads fully.

Open Explorer (file manager), go to C:, then go to Documents & settings, then Your account name (ie: tempest, or whatever acct you are on), go to local settings, then go to temporary internet files.. sort by most recent.. find a file with an extension that is SWF.

Copy it, put it in the common folder on your psp. File size limit so that your PSP's browser won't throw up "not enough memory" at you, is roughly 1mb, not even a smidge more. sometimes it works with a bit more size, sometimes not. In fact, most of the times, not. If you are a mac user, find where your temporary internet files are held and follow the same instructions.

For those that say it's not possible (hint, hint), at least "try" reading 1 of the other 20 threads that were given birth so that you'll understand that this has been brought up, and confirmed, by several people.

Start a AAC help thread, you know that. You'll get more replies.

digi is right....that technique will work, although I have not tried playing saved flash games on my PSP yet.
Zelda: collecting of pills is a cool pacman game which I think would make a rather humble flash game to play on you PSP espicially since all you need are the directional buttons to control the game. The file size is nice and small (581kb) so it should be no problem putting it on your PSP.

Donpixel site has many cool flash games, so I'll see if I can play them om my PSP once I update my firmware.
Has anyone else tried playing flash games on PSP? Does it work? is it perfect?

digi,
thanks for trying it out, nice to know that it works.....although fps sucks. Hopefully it will get better with future firmware updates from Sony. very promising!

If not, at least I know there is the PS1 emulation to look forward to.

What do I type in the browser address to access the swf files? I tried "pspgamegame.swf" and it tried to connect to my wireless connection. Any advice?

I had slashes between words, they apparently don't show up here but it looked like "psp, game, gamename.swf"

there is an auto form in the psp browser that points to file://

Put the SWF file in COMMON.

Type file:/psp/common/______.swf

You can rename SWF files to make them shorter to anything you want.. try abbreviated versions of the game.. like Zelda Pacman would turn into zp.swf

What's the deal with the framerate on some flash games? The PSP runs them at a snail's pace. My current fave game (which, thanks to digi, was transferred easily to my mem card) runs slow both online and on the mem card. Are there changes that can be made to the browser's settings to offset this?

BTW, hey digi!
