| Summary: New & Sexy
50
On March 5, Ronin no Sakurakai Softronics released a Windows version of iPSP and a brand new sexy looking iPSP for Mac. This new version of iPSP has a nice looking interface for picture converting, movie converting, and autobackup.
When you open iPSP the program tells you that it cannot fully operate without a PSP attached. I was sorry to hear this but clicked the "No, Don't Quit" button to procede into the iPSP interface. The only option available without a PSP attached was movie converting. So I clicked add movie and selected a .wmp movie. I edited a couple of settings - quality, memory stick size, live action etc. I clicked "Start Queue" to begin. However within seconds of pressing start I was given an error message. I have yet to get the video encoding to work.
* Brand new and sexy Interface
* Frequent messages about not having purchased
* Video encoding did not work
* Full functionalty only available when PSP is mounted

UPDATE: When Encoded a .mov it looked like it was working buy when i went to open the file it was twice as fast and was a white screen screen for the second half. I have yet to convert a wmv. via this program at all.

where can i download this!!!!!!!!

if you're using a mac it's no wonder the .wmv file won't i've only used macs my whole life and windows media file support is really really sketchy and usually the only mac program that can open them is windows media player itself which is awful to begin with. i can't say as to what is exactly the problem but most companies have yet to really grasp quicktimes format (.mov) for any useful purpose, it's probably based upon an .mpg or possibly .avi video encoder, meaning that it really only knows how to deal with those two which are closest to mpeg format, and are most popularily used. I'd sit tight for more updates, it's still pretty early for iPSP.

Try PSPware instead... it needs work too, no help files, but seems to be a bit more solid.
