I got my Brando screen protectors in the mail yesterday. took 10 days to get to Vancouver after I ordered them online.

I was dying to get them so I put them on right away. I used the big one first. the one that covers the entire front side of the PSP. They go on pretty easily and much easier than the last screen protector I used (on my old Palm - dunno what brand it was). As long as you do it in a fairly dust-free, lint-free area, you shouldn't get anything clinging to the sticky side of the sheet. The hardest part about putting them on is probably aligning it along the entire length of the PSP. mine is a bit off and around a milimeter or so is sticking out of the top right corner of the console, but I didn't bother reapplying and realigning it.

One thing everyone should be aware of is that you should not use a hard, plastic card (i.e. credit card) to run over the sheet when you're putting it on. The Brando screen protector isn't very scratch-resistant at all (although it should protect the PSP's screen itself from scratches) and after I pressed a card down across it, the thing was full of big, ugly scratches. It DOES NOT scratch the PSP's screen and the scratches on the Brando sheet are NOT visible when the PSP is turned on. Even with the huge scratches, the protector is almost invisible. But yeah, it does make the thing look freakishly ugly turned off. USE THE bottom side of the CARDBOARD in the PACKAGING that the screen protectors came with instead. They don't scratch it and do squeeze out air bubbles MUCH BETTER. I used it to squeeze out most of the small bubbles that were left after I put the whole thing on and they went away quite easily.

I think I am satisfied with the Brando screen protectors. It is as clear as everybody else says and as it's advertised. It's just too bad that I scratched the thing up while it was being applied. I won't use a credit card when putting on the smaller sheet.

After I use these two up, I dunno if I'd go for Brando again. if nothing goes wrong, I would. But I'd also like to try out the JAVOSCREEN brand which also covers up the entire front but seems to be much more scratch-resistant.

I have the same experience with the Brando protector. I applied the small one first, cause I figured it'd be easier to do than the bigger one. Although I only got a few small scratches due to the process of applying it, after about a month, I have many more little micro scratches (each maybe 2mm long). These little scratches look like bits of dust or lint, but they won't wipe off. So yes, I'd certainly agree the Brando protector scratches easily. But as the reviewer said, you don't see it when you turn the PSP on. I think it is pretty decent value for $12. You use one, and when it gets too scratched up, you take it off and put the other on. But yes, I'm also thinking of trying out the Javoscreen, mainly because I am interested in its anti-glare properties.

Interesting how this got a 90, yet you said you probably wouldn't use it again! I don't know how well the Javo CLEAR screen protector is against scratches, but I will be reviewing it as soon as it arrives. My review on the anti-glare protector is already up. That one is great.

Nice. I'm just kind of wondering: Does this screen protector lower the screen quality at all? I got Pelican screen protectors that reduce the quality of the screen (only on parts of the screen that are basically the same color, like when the whole screen is white). They're good overall, but I'd like iot better if they didn't mess up the scren like that.

can you put both protectors on at the same time?

the screen quality is excellent -- unlike the javo antiglare (which i also have, so yes, my criticism is justified), which, though it provides wonderful anti-glare 'protection,' i was able to scratch it and it made the screen quality awful (just took away from the beautiful, crisp look of the psp screen -- color was a fair amount lighter, as well). Theoretically, you could put both on top of each other, but I dont really see a need for it.

"can you put both protectors on at the same time?"
Do you mean both sides of the Brando protector, or the Brando and the javoscreen?

I highly reccomend the PSP Professional Screenguard Screen Protector made by Capdase. It's just like the brando but much better and scratch resistant. Ebay sells tons of these you can pick one up for $5. Great protector and comes with screen cleaning keychain.

I just got a PSP and was looking at all the differant protectors being offered online and in stores. I'm using invisiARMOR. They had one for me that covers the screen and all the other surface on the front. I paid $15 for that but they also have what you were talking about for just the screen and I think that was $11. They showed me a demo and you can't scratch this stuff even with a key. They also have all kinds of warranties. That's the one I would go for again for sure. I saw them on ebay but they have a website at invisiARMOR.com. Oh yeah and I used a credit card on mine and it didn't scratch. Went on in about 5 minutes. I thought it was really easy to install.
