Titles that deserve 99% are the ones you keep coming back to years down the line or titles that drastically alter the face of gaming for the better. Titles such as Super Mario Bros, Day of the Tentacle, X-COM: Enemy Unknown, Ultima 7, DOOM, X-Wing, Super Mario 64, Grand Theft Auto, and Nintendogs.
Despite Gretzky NHL being a decent attempt at minimising the larger than life sport of Ice Hockey, it isn't one of those titles. Most sports titles aren't though, based solely on the fact that a new iteration comes out year after year.
But anyways, I'm glad you're getting a lot of enjoyment from the title and we're all entitled to our own opinions
