I have generally had a bad experience with screen protectors for the PSP. All of these experiences revolve around the inability to remove bubbles from under the plastic. The JAVOScreen was very easy to apply, with only minor bubbles near the edges around the buttons. Because your hands cover these when you play the PSP, they are hardly noticeable.
One of the other cool features is its resistance to finger prints! The standard PSP practically begs to be smudged, and it drives me crazy! With the JAVOscreen, a simple finger print won't leave a mark whatsoever, but if you really try hard to smear your finger, it'll leave a mark. The screen is also completely scratch resistant (I tried and failed to scratch it!), which is a nice plus.
The glossy sheen of the PSP has always been a bane of gamers ever since the console was released. There is just something odd about playing a game as you stare into your own reflection on the screen. By far the best feature of this product is that it almost completely removes that glare from your PSP! The material is not completely transparent, but instead has tiny little grains that diffuse the reflection on it's surface. Because of this, you will notice (barely) the tiny grains on the JAVOscreen when you are viewing your PSP. However, there really is not enough of a difference to warrant not using this product.
Overall, the JAVOscreen protects the screen and the area around the d-pad, analog-pad, and the right buttons from glare, smudges, and scratches. It doesn't protect the area directly below or above the screen. The kit comes with a new cleaning cloth, an application card, and of course, the screen itself. At $12 (+S&H) it is a well worth it.

2 questions. Does the protector make the screen seem fuzzy or blurry?
and is there any adhesive or anything, or does it just stick on by itself?

i have this sreen protector and i do not recommend this product. it is thick enough to make the screen fuzzy. this screen protector is not some thin clear plastic. it is thick and not 100% transparent. the only thing good about the javo screen protector is the ease of application (no air bubbles).

i wouldnt reccommend it (i had one, then got a brando). 1) its not very clear -- gives the picture a quite different look -- not as crisp as the regular screen. 2) it scratches fairly easily (i scratched it when applying -- i reccomend using another piece of plastic around the card they give you, or use a squeegee. one plus is that they give you the card to push it on, but i personally like my brando better (2 for the price of 1, too)

ANSWER:
1. YES, it does cause a faint blurry (Fuzziness). You get used to it but it bugs you at first glance.
2. No adhesive but it sticks very well. No residue or anything will be left when it is removed.

I am very surprised to hear people not recommending this. It doesn't make the screen look blurry at all! I used my friend's PSP (without a screen protector) and compared it right next to this one when I was writing this review. The difference in clarity was barely noticeable! In fact, a friend of mine was playing on my PSP for about an hour before he noticed I had put the screen on it! Don't be overly harsh for such a mild thing. In all honesty, I think the slight grainyness far outweighs the incredible mirror effect of most other screen protectors! As far as it getting scratched on application, I don't know what to say. I took a penny to it and could barely see anything.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could tell me where this product is sold. So far I have checked every Best buy, Target, Wal-Mart, Gamestop, and EBGames in my area and not one of them has even received such an accessory...

I have one of these as well. I am shocked to hear people saying it's not worth the money. It adds a bit of "distortion", like any screen cover is going to do. Find me a screen cover that doesn't distort, and I'll show you a total lack of screen protection. The distortion/blurring/whatever that comes with this is VERY easy to overlook and is hardly noticeable with movies or games (it's easier to see on the menu screens, but who cares?)
A couple of big things in it's favor:
1. It cuts ALL the glare so playing and watching is much easier
2. It's thick so it can take a good hit on the screen without tearing or marring like some softer versions
3. It's removable/repositionable and washable
I ordered mine on their Web site and got it very fast. I agree that using the plastic card to work out the air bubbles is smart only with a cloth wrapping. I'd also STRONGLY suggest using compressed air to blow off the PSP. It's amazing what sticks around (and is thus shown) with a cloth alone.

I have a link screen protector. I have the anti glare one, and also I have a crystal clear one.
I agree that the anti-glare one distorts the picture a little bit but it really helps against screen glare, and I LOVE how it does not attract fingerprints.
My clear protector gives an awesome picture but it attracts fingerprints as bad as the screen itself!

I bought my PSP used and it already had a screen protector on it (I'm not sure what kind). I've been tempted to remove it to see what the screen looks like without it, but it looks like it uses an adhesive and I'm afraid it will leave a sticky mess if I take it off. And I know I won't be able to put it back on again. Has anyone else done this?

Not all screen protectors will add any distortion/blur to the screen. I use the Martin & Fields one, and it is clear as day, can't even tell it's there when looking at it closely.

For the last time, the JavoScreen DOES NOT DISTORT OR BLUR THE IMAGE. If it did, it wouldn't have gotten a 95! Secondly, most crystal clear screen protectors do not remove glare, and generally do not have as good scratch/smudge protection.
