Tony Hawk, you're the best. I've read your book. I've played your games. I've seen you in movies and on TV. I've even skated to be more like you. The sad thing is, I am tired of your 'new' alternative games coming out every time I turn my head.
THUG 2 is more of the same. Line up here, do tricks, save. No surprises. If you are a Hawk addict, get it. Just don't cry if you feel like you've 1080'd this half-pipe before.
If you've followed this series from the PS1 days, it's kinda' getting old and cranky.
If you've just gotten into the series with THUG or TH4 then maybe you need to do this game some thumb-justice.
If you are a Hawk game addict, why the freak are you even bothering to read these reviews of this awesome port of a wonderful game that has the coolest customizable features in a hand-held game EVER.
i agree witht he game but i skate myself and u are missing out on a lot of skating pro's int he sport that arent all in ur face sell out TH skating. He isnt so spectacular. Dawong song, jaime thomas, andrew renolds, and tom penny, and a ton more, go check out some skate vids and u will be amazed :-) Especially if u ever see what rodney mullen cna really do, your jaw will drop :-p and keep on skatin'!
I completely agree with you but this game was a real let down. I was pretty excited because I really couldn't get into THUG series. I guess I was hoping that the PSP would be a great format for this quick gaming style. Maybe next time.
I never really played to many skating games. A couple on the ps1 and I think this game is really good actually. But I do understand that the game style hasnt really changed all that much.
