The case is great. It looks really nice and has a nice feel to it. The sleeve isnt made of hard plastic like i thought it would b but the rubber on it can take almost just as much damage. It does a good job of keeping the smudges and crap off your psp and it makes the psp a little bigger for those people with bigger hands. I mean it doesn't make it like a whole centimeter thicker but its just a tad bit bigger. The only complaint I have with it is that it has a weird smell when it first comes out of the box. It dissapears in about 2 days but during that time it just sat in the corner.
Another problem with the case is that it doesnt have a hole cut out in the back. You pretty much have to take it off everytime You change umds. Next to those two problems the case itself is really good. It pretty much prevents dents and scratches and absorbs some of the load when you drop your psp. I think its a good buy plus its only 7 dollars or so. your wont be losing alot of money even if u dont like it so u might as well give it a try.

Is it easy to get dirt and grit between the case and you PSP? I would think having to take it off all the time to put in a UMD would cause massive scratching after a year or so... If it's a soft rubber, that would make it easier for grit (very small stones) to get imbedded into the rubber and damage the PSP... I'd rather spend $7 on 2 bottles of Colt 45. Works every time...

well its easy for grit to get in but before i put the psp back in i just flip it over and all the rocks fall out. its made out of a rubber that doesn tseem to melt easily.

I've seen a similar product to this for the GBA, it hardened around the system and was impossible to take off.

this doesnt seem like it will harden up but i havnt tried it in different wether types yet. ill let you know what i find out.

a lil but u get used 2 it i mean i rather have to work a little bit more to push my buttons then dropping my psp and denting and scratchiing it up.edited: Feb 19 2005

I don't think it's bad for the money but there is a smell as soon as you open the box ... i thought I was imagining it until I read this review. But now I know i'm not .... so be warned !!

a week later the smell is still there ... i thought it might wear off ... but it hasn't
