| Summary: I just picked this up, as it looked very promising, but
50
I just picked this up, as it looked very promising, but it fails on two fronts. First, while it's VERY visually stunning, and the graphics are very well thought out,the graphics are so intense it actually makes my PSP stutter at times. The other problem is difficulty, it took me 5 times to get past the intro stage, and that's no good.
While the graphics are the best I've seen on the PSP yet, the fact that it makes my psp hang for a bit is not good. There's no easy setting for someone as old as me, and I just can't think that fast. Five out of ten.

I got it as well, and i dont think its the psp that cant handle it, i believe it is the poor programming of edios when it comes to how they did the viewing angles. I as well thought it had promise and now wish i bought mercury instead. Oh well live and learn.

I'd have to agree with midnight. I've seen games that look much more stunning on the PSP already. This actually looks very basic graphically.
Wipeout, HSG, and Mercury all seem to excel beyond the this title graphically. Is there anything you can say that would clarify that claim? The screenshot, in this case, must not speak for themselves.

I think it's odd that it is said to be "too difficult" just because he had to try five times to pass the first stage. Who wants a game so easy that you can breeze through the levels?
I'll still give it a shot. This wouldn't be the first game to have graphics that make the gameplay sluggish. Tony Hawk becomes herky jerky easily if there is too much to render in the camera view. It's not surprising considering these are first generation titles.

I just got it as well and I'm fairly impressed. I would like more control over the viewing angle, especially in the maze levels, but it's okay. I started with the arcade/easy level and it took 3 tries to get past the first mirror level, partly because it took a few seconds of the first try just to figure out how to work it. The mirror has a lot of inertia. The connection level only took 2 tries as did the first maze. I'm having fun and recommend it so far.

Has anyone had a problem with the game locking up while saving between stages? My copy has corrupted its own save file twice and i'm about to exchange it and see if i just got a bad copy.
