This game is absolutely amazing! I played it for about 4-5 hours yesterday, 2-3 of those hours being online play. The battery lasted quite well even with the WLAN running, even though the back of the system became a little hot while playing online.
The graphics on the sampler disc are nowhere near the actual game play. On the legit disc, the graphics are much more crisp and the music catchy. However, overall the great qualities of this game, I had to remove five points due to loading times. I understand that this is no big deal for some, but I don't like to wait for things.
The single player mode gets a little old after a short time (-2 points) and the ending movies are all basically still images with sound (-2 points). With all that, this game would receive a rating of 91, but I cannot post that as I can not get over the online play. When playing over the internet or ad-hoc network, the game almost doesn't lag! There is no more than a 0.5 second pause when I grab weapons in the game, and it affects the game play to an extreme minimum. It is much agreed that this game performs better online than I thought, and far surpassed my expectations. For this I will add 8 points as it truly deserves them.
I can not give it a perfect score due to loading times, but if it weren't for that, then it would get my two thumbs up!
