I know there have been alot of reviews for Lumines, but I know alot of you still haven't picked this up. For those of you who haven't, you are making a big mistake. Don't pass this one up. Let me start by saying this is my best PSP game. I have Tony Hawk U2 REMIX, RR, and Wipeout. Personally I think Lumines is the best out of these. I was worried about spending $40 on a puzzle game, but I was not dissaponted. I spent more time on this game than any of the other games.
In Lumines the point is to eliminate blocks of the same color by making 4X4 boxes of the same color. This may not seem fun at all but trust me, it is. The gameplay in Lumines is suprisingly fun. It is not a boring puzzle game. You will keep on coming back to this game to try to beat your high score. The visuals in this game are pretty good for a puzzle game. The variety of skins are great and amusing. There is not much more you can say about the graphics.
Another great aspect in Lumines is the audio. The songs match the puzzle setting perfectly. After playing Lumines for a week you will find yourself humming songs like shinin and shake your body. The sound is very well done. Loading times although noticable, are not long at all as it is a 2D puzzle game.
If there were any bad things to say about Lumines it would be that there is no online play and that it is toooo addicting. But in my opinion it is currently the best PSP game out.
