Picked up the game today, and I have to say that EA has done a very good job with FIFA.
There are TONS of teams to choose from, from all over the world. The game play is smooth. Like others have said the only time you get a small lag is when the ball goes out of bounds. That is when the game load the next little bit of animation of the sideline.
The controls will take a small bit of time to get used to as there is only one analog stick on the PSP, but you really start to pick it up fast after your first couple of games.
All I have to say is, if you are a Soccer/football fan you owe it to yourself to try this game.
