I admit, I am a sucker for UMD video. I love the fact that I can have it anytime and anywhere in great quality. So naturally, one would think that they'd release, well, GOOD movies. With the exception of a few gems (other reviews, people, sorry. :-P), its a pretty dull lineup.
Among these dismal titles, is one of my least-favorites, and that would be the 2nd (not first, 2nd) "Resident Evil" flick. While it's a UMD video, which is just amazing (told you I was a sucker), it's a horrible title to put out and I haven't the slightest idea who decided to make it into a UMD video.
Please spare yourself 90 minutes of fake blood and just buy Kill Bill. This is an awful movie and should be spared from your eyes.

Resident Evil 2 Apocalypse is a great movie. Anybody should take a look for it. Well it's not an american movie. So if someone is on the patriotic trip, it might not be the movie for you.
Nonetheless it is one of the best movies ever.

Wow, i cant believe all the comments, half of you hate it to death and the other half of you love it to death lol. While i dont think its a really great movie, i have to say i enjoyed it enough to think renting it wasnt a waste of money. while it is forgettable, i think this movie will be ok for RE fans and zombie movie fans. i played RE1&2 games and i had a lot of fun with them but i dont necessarily think the movies did the games justice. the movies are a little more PG-13 than i thought they would be even though they are rated R.(maybe besides the laser scene in RE1) anyways, i dont think this is that bad a movie or that great, but i do know its not worth getting the UMD for PSP. just rent it or if you have a burner just get the 1GB memory card. 14$ and up UMD movies just dont seem worth it to me, maybe if they were 5 dollars or you could get them free when you buy a game or something like that.

i thought it was cool, you gotta remember this is a film, they cant remake the film exactly as the game, that isnt possible (like all game to film remakes), its got lots of action, the acting aint bad (Milla is a real bad-ass), and the story is decent for a horror flick, just dont expect too much from it and do not expect it to be exactly like the game. To me its just a typical action horror (theres too many of these now a days, wheres the proper scary horror flicks?), enjoyable, but easily forgettable

i'm just hoping the third one is a lot better. the CG hasnt been the greatest, and in the second one, nemesis wasnt all that scary. dont get me wrong though, i really did enjoy both movies regardless of the flaws but i just dont think any movie is really worth buying on UMD.

resident evil movies are GREAT....they go into a world that only the gamming world can take u...the umbrella corperation is one of the most sinister groups ever to form...and now because u talked about them...ure next...sorry>>>

I don't know why you give this movie such a bad rap. I liked it a lot more than the first.

Just got my copy of Hellboy Director's cut UMD yesterday.. posted a review here so you lot can feel free to comment on it! Waiting for my Kill Bill Volume 1 bought it for GBP14.50!

hmm, didnt care for hellboy much, besides the mechanical bad guy with the blades the movie is kind of forgettable. kill bill was ok.
