I admit, I am a sucker for UMD video. I love the fact that I can have it anytime and anywhere in great quality. So naturally, one would think that they'd release, well, GOOD movies. With the exception of a few gems (other reviews, people, sorry. :-P), its a pretty dull lineup.
Among these dismal titles, is one of my least-favorites, and that would be the 2nd (not first, 2nd) "Resident Evil" flick. While it's a UMD video, which is just amazing (told you I was a sucker), it's a horrible title to put out and I haven't the slightest idea who decided to make it into a UMD video.
Please spare yourself 90 minutes of fake blood and just buy Kill Bill. This is an awful movie and should be spared from your eyes.

Anyone reviewed Hellboy UMD yet? I bought it at Ebay for GBP12.50.. waiting for shipment. Hopefully tomo'!

This movie sucks. A fake resident evil movie. Nemesis turns out to be a real person and has feelings? Zombie hookers? Eww. They shouldn't even name this RE: Apocalypse. They have tarnished the RE name. Please do not make a part 3, for god sakes.
Better yet, come out with Resident Evil 4 the game for the PSP. That would be AWESOME!!!!

Yeah the RE movies really suck, but just thinking of having RE4 on my PSP has me salivating

I bought it, watched it and loved it. Anybody that likes non stop zombie shooting and ridiculous stunts will be onboard with this. I thought it was better than the first which I own on DVD.

I do have to admit it was better than the first, But Apocalypse still sux. I think if anyone enjoys this movie, than they don't know the REAL RESIDENT EVIL.

I love resident evil, I have played every resident evil released, 1,2,3, code veronica, and 4 and love the movie, So, don't tell me if you're a true fan you will hate the movie, that is not true.

I haven't seen this yet. but i still go by the philosophy that some movies can be so horribly bad, that they are awesome. evil dead anyone?

i too have played all the RE's and was quite suprised by this. I have yet to see the first one, but bought this and watched it. AWESOME MOVIE!
Yea so what if it is kinda cheesy, it's about a virus that turns everything into zombies! DUH! For this genre I give it a 8 outta 10.

Hellboy was awesome. Ron Perlman is an awesome actor. You have to take it for face value, it was a lot cooler than all the other bad comic book movies, albeit Spiderman had its moments. I cant wait for Sin City on UMD, drool....

Hey if you want to see a movie that involves a viral outbreak, then watch 28 days later or Dawn of the Dead (old or new version). They blow Apocalypse out of this universe!
