I bough mine last night with an adapter to use it as a standard Sony memory card. Quality is always a concern with me, and I usually try to buy the "name Brand" if available. The Sony 512 Pro Duo was $89.99, while the San Disk was on sale for $69.99 with a $10 instant rebate and a $20 mail in. I dove on the oportunity to get more memory.

Alot of stuff will fit on here. It formatted with no problems in the PSP, and all of my info transfered flawlessly. I now have 40 mp3s, an episode of Southpark, a trailer for Dust to Glory (movie) and 47 1024x768 photos on it with a little more than half the space being used ! For the price I am going back for another. I really did not want to use two cards, but as cheap as they are, and as easily as it was to transfer and use. I cant see a reason for getting a 1GB card. Great product.

What store in Colorado? Is it a store rebate or manufacturer's? Or are you keeping that info to yourself and just bragging? I wouldn't blame you if you get your second stick before sharing with others.

Sorry guys.....I bought this beauty at Micro Center (instore) in Denver. They have a web site link. The instant rebate is a instore rebate, and the mail in is a manufacturer rebate.

These exact units (512 Duo Pro with Magic Gate and the little non-Duo adapter) are only Cdn$90 (that's about US$72) at Costco stores in Canada. I got one and it works perfectly fine. Enough room for all the BMW films and much more. Still, I'd rather have a full gig just for laughs.

They're so damn small, how the heck do you keep yourself from misplacing it? Maybe chain it to an old rim like a gas station's washroom key ? ;-)

So since the rebate is a manufactures rebate does that mean i can use it on the same porduct baught from another site or does it only apply to a memory stick duo 512 baught at Micro Center? The Rebate i printed out says Micro Center across the top but does not say anything about buying from other stores. Help asap, looking to buy tonight. Thanks!

I almost lost mine yesterday. I was sleeping at my buddies house and had my psp. He was drunk and wanted to see if his video camera could fit the duo sticks. (Keep in mind his camera uses the standard stick) So he stuck in his cam and well it got stuck! So me and him the next morning tried taking it aprt, to no avail it was either he give me 80 bucks or smash his camera to get it out. Well I'm happy to say all my saved games are still on the stick! Too bad for my friend.
