Summary: Nice and durable but will weigh you down

First I have to say is that this is my first case for my PSP so I can not compare it to any other cases out there. With that said lets get started.

First Impressions:
When I first saw this case the first thing that struck me was its weight. When I first held it in my hand it felt almost as heavy as the PSP it self. Then case also looks nice with the whole steel look and seems very durable. Also when I first saw this case I knew that it would not be able to fit in any pocket other then maybe some giant cargo short pockets.

The Case It Self:
My first complaint with this product and one that is very important is the clamp that holds the case together. The case uses a button release to open it up. The clamp it self is made of plastic and even though almost impossible to open when properly closed that itself is its own task. The clamp is very easy to open with just the push of the button but when it comes to closing it you must literally push both ends till you hear a faint click that then notify you that it is closed. Another slight problem that may effect some is the hinge on the top of the case. Even though it is very sturdy the hinge itself is loose so will not be able to act as a shader for your PSP. The case also encases the whole PSP so you will not be able to charge or listen to music while the PSP is inside. That also brings up another complaint which is that you will not be able to play games inside the case. The two triggers on top are unaccessible while in the case and also the two switches on either side of the PSP are unaccessible.

The Inside:
The inside of the case is surrounded by silicone but feels a little weak on the sides. Shaking the case around lightly I was not able to hear the PSP move around which was reassuring thought. The case also has space for two memory sticks.

Overall:
While this case does have some weaknesses that will discourage anyone who is looking for a case that will protect and be playable, anyone who is looking for a strong durable case or a case to just hold their PSP while in a backpack or other pack this is the case for you. The durability and stability of your PSP in this case will have you very nice, working PSP after it has been tossed around in a backpack.
