I've had my Hori screen protector on my PSP for about a year now, and there isn't a single scratch on the surface. It's as if there's an ultra-thin sheet of glass on my PSP.
More importantly, the screen protector does not change the quality of the image. It's so crystal clear, it's almost invisible -- only the edges of the screen protector give it away.
The adhesive works great as well. It seems to be a silicone-based adhesive which doesn't leave residue on the screen when removed. Furthermore, it hasn't lost it's "stickiness". The edges of the screen protector are just as secure as they were when first applied. No peel-up here.
I take very good care of my PSP, but I'm still surprised that there are no scratches on this screen protector. I've tried two or three other protectors before this one, and the Hori is by far the best.
While any screen protector is better than one at all, some are better than others. Many screen protectors tend to blur the image underneath, either because of the anti-scratch or anti-glare coating. Others pick up scratches really quickly. Thankfully, the Hori suffers from none of these flaws.
If there's a downside to the Hori screen protector, it's that it doens't really reduce glare, but that's ok with me.
