This wifi dongle is designed to make it very easy to connect your PSP to the internet through a PC to surf the web and play infrastructure games online. It comes in handy for people who don't use a wireless router, such as myself. I get the internet from a dedicated cel phone line directly to my laptop and use this device as a wireless hotspot for my PSP.

I have found the connection speed to be just as good as a standard wireless router, and the accompanying software was really easy to set up. I didn't have to agonize over identifying my connection or the name of my wireless card or anything like that, I think I only had to go through four or five painless steps. The program for configuring the wifi key is just as simple to use as well. It even makes changing your password a breeze. One might go so far as to say that the program is too simple, and that it makes reconfiguration nearly impossible. But it works great, it provides a wireless connection to the internet for my PSP, so I have no complaints. I even had two PSP's sharing the connection with no problem with connection speed.

The one problem that I have with this wifi key is that it does not support xlink kai,the online gaming community that enables you to play PSP games over the internet in ad-hoc mode. I think that this can be changed if the manufacturer releases an updated driver that supports permiscuous mode.

Aside from that one deficiency, I recommend this product for its ease of use and quality of performance.
