| Summary: Case that MAKES scratches

Cases are supposed to prevent your beautiful PSP from getting scratches, but this case actually GIVES your PSP lots of scratches. DO NOT buy this case. You will get ugly scratches on the silver circle part on back of your PSP. You will also get scratch on your PSP screen because dust can go under the screen protector very easily. I was very happy with this case for first 2 weeks and I thought it was the best PSP ever, but when I found out the scratches on my PSP screen I stopped using it. The screen protector also gets scratches very easily and it's very annoying. Trust me. Don't buy this case. Do not trust other reviews that says this case is great. They probably faced the same problems as I did and stopped using it.

Can the transparent screen-protector be removed ?

Yes the screen protector can be removed.
I do not know how the user got scratches. I've been using this case for quite a while now and had zero problems with it.
Sorry to hear your PSP got scratched regardless. Good luck finding another case.
