| Summary: A few nice benefits
70
This case has a few nice benefits. It's less than $10 which is great for a hard case. It's also great for showing off a new faceplate or a Japanese Ceramic white PSP since it's clear.
This is my fifth PSP case so I have a lot to compare it to. It's definitely the least expensive, but the Logitech Playgear Pocket is only slightly more expensive. The ArmorLite is a very hard case and would probably protect the PSP from impacts very well. It does have the same problem as most of my cases. It has openings for the PSP's ports that make it far from water tight.
The hard shell is surprisingly easy to scratch. It got its first scuff while I was fighting to get it out of that ridiculous plastic packaging everything comes in these days. I'm sure that after prolonged use it would get very ugly, but at $10 you could always get a new one.
I didn't do any swapping out of UMDs but it would get tedious after a while. Unless you keep your PSP on a strap you run the risk of dropping it while removing the case to swap out a game or movie.
This is far from my favorite case, but I can't say "don't buy it." It may have its faults, but other cases share them and it's only ten bucks. If you want a great case, for only a bit more look to the Logitech PGP. If you want real security and water resistance look at some of the metal cases out there.
But if you imported a white PSP or voided your warranty to change your faceplate, this would be a good case to use once in a while. For the most part I will stick to my Vaja case, but when I want to show off how shiny a Liquid Silver faceplate is, I'll use this one for a bit.
