There is an atypical charm about Boku no Watashi no Katamari Damacy that you don't see in many other puzzle games from Japan. Soduku got nothing on it, Go has nothing on it, not even Jerry Seinfeld can touch the mastery, the amazing quality of polished genius that is Katamari Damacy.
Skepticism turned into curiosity, curiosity into admiration, admiration into obsession when I picked this game up for Playstation 2. And what can you say about a game where your primary goal is ruining the lives of citizens, animals, inanimate objects and disrupt the flow of nature by collecting all matter into a giant ball of death?
We all know what Jack Thompson would say. That's why I didn't ask him.
The Prince of the cosmos succeeds where Darth Vader failed. This game is hard to put down either way you look at it. I looked at the sociology of Katamari Damacy and only ended up laughing. We tried comparing it with the ubiquitous, omnipotent Lakers, Celtics rivalry and still nothing. This game simply rocks.
Go buy it. Then play it. Then play it some more. Then cry, you have in the palm of your hands the most unique, amazing game to ever grace the name of 3D. It is only until a Seinfeld (I'm showing my fanboyism) video game is made, nothing will ever match Katamari Damacy. You know it, I know it, Newman knows it.
