Summary: Way better than Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors on PS2/XBOX

Wow, finally a PSP port that actually improves on the original. Sure the console versions have slightly better sound and better graphics, but in all other ways this is quicker, more intense and much more strategic. It also gives you a challenge in a variety of non button mashing ways. Load times aren't a problem and the game isn't too challenging or a pushover either. Nice action strategy blend for the hardocore KOEI fans. This one is a must!

Gameplay - 88: Hard to believe it's a portable.
Depth - 80: It's great fun for the first 5 times you beat it.
Fun Factor - 92: Big surprise after Dynasty Warriors for PSP.
Control - 95: Silky smooth and digital.
Value - 89: If you've never played this then you should rent it first.

I wouldn't say "finally a game that improves..." because several games seem to have been improved over the originals...more recently games like Mega-man and Syphon filter...but this is a great addition to the list!

Ridge Racer and Burnout Legends also improve on the originals... and that's just the launch/early games I own... Sure, PSP gets a lot of ports, but I find they're usually perfected from the console versions before release,
