So far this is the only F1 game out right now, and it's been done pretty nicely. I picked 2 of these copies to play wirelessly with my brother.
Graphics - 95
Excellent graphics. You can clearly see the distant enviroment aroun you, and the nature. When driving, you can see the enviroment being reflected in the car, and the drivers helmet, such as the trees, other cars etc. I am taking away 5 points for not making the public visible enough and for the trees being a little squary..
Gameplay - 65
The gameplay is great, if you don't mind doing 10 laps in races. This is a F1 racing game, so thats probably what you should expect, racing and racing and racing.. It gets quite repetetive and by unlocking a new difficuly level the gameplay gets extened, you get more laps to do, and honestly this can get really boring. A 3 lap race takes about 4-5 minutes, imagine what a 10 lap race takes.
Other than that all else is great. There is damage, realistic pit stops, qualifications, winning sequels, etc. It has 4 modes: Quick race, TV race mode, Scenario (You will play different case scenarios, like driving through fog and rain, with a broken down gearbox etc.) You don't have alot of unlockables but you can download extra content from the official sites.
Sound - 90
Great sounds. Very realistic sounds of 20 cars roaring at the same time, some might find this neat, some might find it annoying. There are about 6 music tracks, but very good ones though, including Queens of the Stone age.
Multiplayer
Nicely done. You have 3 modes - Head to head, grand prix and time trial. It is worth getting the game just for the multiplayer.
Overall - 80
This is a great game, with great graphics. The only con in this game is that it gets to repetitive, but if you're a fan of F1 you won't mind it. It's great for on-the-go and once you get bored of it, you will surely want to play it again after some time. Worth getting if you like racing games.
Interesting comparison between your review and the "Bad" review, lol. I'm a F1 fan so I would probably pick this up if I wasn't swamped with racing games as is, WRC, Initial D, Ridge Racer, etc.
In terms of portability, a 10 lap race doesn't sound too portable. Perhaps this would cater more towards the armchair PSP-er.
Also, you forgot to mention the downloadable content.
I think he _did_ read it, or he wouldn't have made a comment about what you've written His eye just didn't catch that sentence, that's all (or it _did_ catch it but his brain failed to register the information).

please read the review first."
I did read the review; I missed that part. "My brain failed to register the information" as ConraDargo pointed out, LOL. My apologies.
Nice review other than putting the gameplay down because of 10 lap races. REAL races could be over a hundred of laps. I don't see why there should be complaints on that. This isn't Burnout...........it's a simulation. But on second thought: For people that don't have that much time on their hands and want to do a quick race, Burnout, or Need For Speed, which sucks, would be a better buy.

Formula 1 races last for around 45 - 78 laps depending on the track! i wouldnt get this game because i want a full simulation with full amount of laps! Formula 1 06 comes out in June (was announced last week) and it sounds damn good, it's made by the same people that make the ps2 one and it will have infrastructure so u can play psp and ps2 users online! so anyone thinking of getting this game, should just wait till june!

Whoa. That sounds pretty amazing. I want to know where you got that information from though.
Will this work on US PSPs? I dunno if they have PAL and NTSC versions like with the PS2. I'm so fed up with Sony for only buying the F1 rights for the UK and not US too.
