| Summary: Better than last years, but far from perfect

Simply put this game feels like a trial demo w/ enhanced opening video. Having played at least 40 console NHL/NBA titles that were rated in 7-10 overall / 10 I know quality when I see or play it. This has minimal improvements over 2005 in gameplay,control, and depth.
Control: 50 / 100 - *I'm being very generous*
Video: 68 / 100
Sound: 75 / 100
Gameplay: 65 / 100
Originality: 64 / 100
Fun Factor: 50 / 100
Depth: 80 / 100
Overall a game w/ no Dynasty, Franchise, Multi Season Campaign, no clean feel for the game as it's played *even Madden 2006 has this* and no great improvement over the predecessor. Did the playtesters get paid off? Multiplayer/Online is about the only saving this from a failing mark.
