Pelican's Face Armor is the vanilla ice cream of the PSP protector world. There are many other cases which are far more effective, far more durable and offer way more features. However, what the Face Armor claims so readily it does, it protects the PSP's face.
It is not shock resistant and feels flimsy. These are it's chief cons, it simply isn't durable to survive a fall or heavy jostling. But, it's thin profile and close fit make ideal for a book bag pouch or pocket.
The small form factor makes it useful in a cramped backpack. I use mine with pencils, pens and various pointy objects rolling about it. PSP is scratch-free and mint conditition.
Offers minimal protection, but if you have limited space in a padded bag it's great. Compared to the god-like Playgear Pocket it is a solid 80, yet for the cheap price and portability every PSP gamer should keep one in reserve. Two months and still in great working codition! However, I must add, do NOT over tighten the screws. This is the number one reason these things break!
