A good game for hardcore snooker fans, and newcomers alike, the controls are easy enough for beginners to grasp after a few games, but advanced players have alot of control over spin, angle, etc.

At the main menu we have a good variety of modes, you can jump straight in with the 'Challenge Mode' which is the 'story mode' of the game, where you must rise through the ranks to get to the number 1 spot. Then there are unlockable trickshots, exhibition match and variations on the game (Pool, Billiards etc.).

There are alot of things to unlock, new cues, tables, venues, ball sets, players and more. The 'Create-a-Character' mode is good enough to create a character with the likeness you want.

The graphics are top notch, and the physics are extremly life like, I have ran into no bugs as of yet, you can do everything you can on a real table, no less, no more.

Sounds are as good as you can get from snooker, the ocassional cough from audience members. The comentry is top notch, if not a little repetitive after multiple games.

Of course this game has all the official lisences; player liknesses, venues and comentator voices. This adds alot to the game, and it really looks like you are watching snooker on BBC2!

The only thing that gets slightly frustrating is when the A.I. player just keeps on going, and sometimes clear the whole table with out giving you any chances to intervene, guess I will have to brush up on my skills =).

All in all this game is a definate must have for all PSP owners.

Bought this, sold it after a few weeks, nice game if your into Snooker, but I prefer Pool and which yes is a sub game in this, but I found it all to slow to get going, would prefer a quick Pool game, without all the Snooker paraphernalia

I have always been a fan of Virtual Pool with it's much more life-like controls and no gap in time before you actually hit the ball. I found this game to be sluggish and unresponsive... If you have a smartphone then get yourself Mobile Virtual Pool it's much much better... although it doesn't have a snooker game in it...

totally agree with Spooke, I have used Virtual Pool on my Pda and it is by far quicker and easier to pick up and play than the PSP Snooker...
