This case is amazing. I assure you that if it was available in American stores, it'd be the fastest selling case yet.
Pros/Features
Holds 2 UMDs and 2 memory sticks.
The memory sticks are placed in wells underneath the PSP for security reasons.
Once in, the PSP will not fall out of the case when dropped, held upside down, etc.
Easy to take out and put it in.
UMDs actually snap into the upper pockets and never even touch the screen.
Very light, adds no noticible weight to the PSP.
Made of real quality leather.
Button closure. When I first heard this I sighed but now that I use it it's a lot better than any other type of locking mechanism. The snap is quick, sturdy and practical.
Acces to everything including USB Ports, Buttons, Jacks, etc. Except for the UMD Door and memory stick slot.
When closed, the L&R buttons are easy to press yet will not be accidentally pressed due to clever design.
Easily fits in a pocket
Makes holding the PSP a lot more comfortable while playing.
Smells like a million bucks.
Cons
Pricey when it comes to a PSP case (~$65)
Customer service is so-so due to the location of the store (France) and price conversions, time difference etc. But I had no real problems just a minor shipping one where it took a month to ship due to a lost package. But I got free shipping.
Kind of squeaky when squeezed because of the leather, not a huge problem. Although, after about a weeks usage the squeak goes away.
Doesnt function as a stand
Comparing to the PGP
I have the Playgear Pocket as well and noticed some differences between them.
Quality
The Ambition protects the PSP with high quality leather while the PGP has a plastic type of material. In a drop test the Ambition bounced once then lay there unharmed while I noticed a few hairline cracks in the PGP.
Protection
The Ambition case offers great protection. The bottom of the case is arched, providing show resistance on the bottom. Also, it has a well on the lid which prevents the UMDs from touching the screen. The PGP offers equal protection.
Size
There are three aspects of size to take in consideration - height, width, and depth. The ambition is considerably shorter and less wide than the PGP however the PGP has the Ambition in depth. Take a UMD game and put it on top top of the PGP, that is the relative size. All in all, the Ambition is smaller.
Overall
If you are a PSP fanatic like myself and constantly care about it then this case is for you. With the outstanding features it cant be beat. If you can pay the price, get this case ASAP.
