This is the MUST have for an avid gamer. This case is great, it holds ALL of your gear. It holds everything from the value pack and more. It will hold everything you need to bring your gaming anywhere. There's room for headphones, 10 UMDs, memory sticks, your PSP, all the cables you need, and a car or regular charger.
Portability
The only place I would take one point of is the portability. Sure it has a nice little "carrying-strap", but it's like lugging around a big man purse and is degrading to some people. It's still a great case and portable, but because of it's big size I took away a point. Then again you must lose a little portability to have great carrying capacity.
Protection
Another area where this case succeeds is in protection. Everything in the case is padded and protected by padding and the leather outside. Everything fits snug and won't shift around while carrying, or if accidently dropped. This case will definately keep all your belongings safe. If you need the extra protection you can fit the soft case over your PSP and have an even tighter fit into the case. I don't think that the PGP or Stealth will fit into this, but it is very possible I am wrong as I have yet to try that.
Functionability
This case is very functional as well. Not only does it fit everything snug and secure, but you can also customize it to your likings. Compartments not big enough for you? Well you can rearrange the padded dividers to fit all of your needs. This way you can fit all your gear in the way YOU want it to fit in. You can give more room to one item and take some away from the item. That's where this case scores big. There are also pockets for smaller items like your headphones and a cloth.
Recommendations
I recommend this case to everyone. Although big, it can be used by everyone to carry all of the gear. I believe a gamer needs two different cases, one for portable protection, and a case to carry ALL the gear. This case is the case for all your gear. You can fit everything you need into this case and take it anywhere. I believe it is a must for people who travel, as they can take everything with them and yet don't have to sacrifice portability because they have the portable case (PGP, stealth) to satisfy that need. Overall I scored this case a 99 because the only downside is its size, which is needed because of all that gear. This case is a must buy.
Am struggling with this one. There is so much to like here. However...
It is much larger than what I am used to. For a "carry it all" solution I am glad I got though. It holds my psp, games, memory sticks, cables, headphones, and even my 100GB Apacer CD211 portable drive all fairly snugly.
I noticed the UMD "slots" are facing opposite directions in the picture (which seems good for them when it is folded up). However in the case I got the UMD slots are all facing the same direction. I tried putting all 10 UMD's in there, and am very leary about it. It seems to barely fit and I am worried about discs breaking! I went back to just putting 5 on one side to avoid this problem (there is room for another UMD case to fit in the moveable compartments where the PSP goes, but that kind of sucks losing those 5 slots that seem to be intended to be used.
I noticed someone mentioning that on the Amazon reviews to. I'm currently debating wheather or not if I should still get it. I heard you could refund it, but it wouldn't be worth it, since you have to pay for S+H both ways. Is there anything else wrong with it, besides the UMD slots faced the same way Panther? If not, I just might take my chances.
This thing rocks. Plain and simple. Smaller than a book. I carry not one but two psp's (both with faceplates and one with an oversized battery) three sets of headphones, my computer cable, a charger, an extra battery 16 umd's in various containers, my 4gd hard drive, an extra battery, 5 memory sticks, and an extra screen guard.
