I'd have to say, I made a big, big rookie mistake when I bought MGACID. Normally, before I buy games (or basically anything) I look everywhere for reviews and screenshots and whatnot to help me make a decision on whether or not I should buy the game. I bought Acid with the purchase of my PSP because I figured, "AWESOME! A METAL GEAR FOR PSP!!" Well, this game is NOT like other Metal Gear games. I REPEAT, THIS GAME IS NOT LIKE OTHER METAL GEAR GAMES.
I honestly cannot play this game any longer than 20 minutes because I get tired of how tedious and boring it is. This game plays like a chess game inspired by a trading card game like Magic in the sense that you are dealt certain cards and those cards give you the ability to move different amounts of steps. Alot like different pieces in chess give you different moveability options. Also, you have the choice of using the card in order to redeem certain weapon uses, disguises, armor, etc.
After your turn, you get to watch each gaurd or enemy use his turn. The whole thing just seemed to go on way too long for me. Also, I hate chess. I'm kind of pissed that I bought this game.
