The graphics still amaze me every time I watch it, and I've re-watched it at least 30 times. I love this movie, the fast-paced action scenes are done so exremely good. In fact they are done just fast enough that you can tell whats happening but it still looks very fast. This movie is definitly worth getting.
The plot itself I wasnt too crazy of, but what do you expect from a video game. It didn't affect the overall movie value at all. However they better not sub this movie, because I'm sure the subs will suck, the japanese voice acting is suberb however.
If you never played FF7 (which I actually havent but have been planning to) you will still greatly enjoy this movie and most likely understand everything hats going on and why.
Overall, this movie is extremely awsome, and you are crazy not to get it!

FF7 is one of the best games of all time. I know people will say that everyone's entitled to their opinion, and that's fine...but FF7 is about as far from "bad game" as any I've played. From my experience, most people who didn't like it stopped playing before they left Midgar, and thus cheated themselves of the better 80% of the game.

The story/characters/settings/themes/etc. of FF7 were the great part but the game's overall mechanics were of a simple turn-based party RPG.

wwhat do you expect form one of the first of its kind? the game was still good, and the mvie is purely amazing. i put all fights on my psp (which is like 2/5 of the movie) and have kept it on since i first had my psp, they are that good

do my eyes decieve me? did i just read ''good movie but a bad game...'' i have heard it all now.....FFVII is not only the best game in the FF series, its the best RPG ever created....i would even go as far as say greatest game of all time, and this is of course, my opinion but im sure a lot of people would agree with me.....the films great too!
