I found this to be the best available freeware video program for the PSP to convert files.
Pros
• It's free, you can't beat that.
• It can transfer almost any file... many others just say they can.
• It has a smart UI that works simply and painlessly.
• It creates the .THM (thumbnail) file using the opening window of the video.
Cons
• Conversion is extremely slow.
• Is not available for the MAC.
Anyone with a PC should definitely get this. It's free and converts the necessary files that you want to see.
