The remote was a very good idea from Sony. It can be used for the basic operations of audio. I personally did not like the headphones though, they hurt my ears after extended use. The good thing is that you can use other earphones with the remote.

the earphones are really good for movies...i havent used them for a game yet...im usually listening to the tv while im playing a game...yea i do admit that the circle remote is pretty lame...but why are you gonna mess with the volume or skip to the next track or back track...just let it play!!!
