Hi all. Wow, what can I say that's already been said? :D Here are the finer points of this amazing PSP launch title:
Addictive gameplay
Connect blocks to other blocks of the same color by rotating their shapes. Making a four-sided type shape will eliminate all blocks of the SAME color that borders it. However, there is a line that runs horizontally which activates these block "eliminations." Therefore, you may have already made a four-sided-sided shape of the same color but it will NOT disappear until this action line passes through it. Blocks will continually fall so the objective is just like Tetris; get rid of the blocks!
Music
The music will change and so will the color of the blocks after a certain number of eliminating blocks/points is achieved. This changes look & sound very cool and keeps the game fresh.
Loading is brief & I've encountered no game play glitches.
There are a few variations of modes of play but the objective is the same; get rid of those blocks! :D
Bottom line: Like Namco's collection, I feel this is great game to have on the go. It's plain addicting and rounds can last 40 min. easy if you're an average player. If you hate puzzles then stay away. Now if Tetris interests you, well gamer, grab Lumines for a fantastic alternative.
