The case is a made of a LL BEAN "school bag" type material and has an interior zip pocket just large enough to squeeze your PSP in. The larger outer pocket has a "squeeze lock" mechanism that prevents whatever item you decide to slip in there from falling out if the bag is flipped upside down.
I crossed my fingers hoping that Score's UMD-8 Case fits into the outer pocket; it DOES! For me, I felt this case was a match made in Heaven- I have my PSP in the rear zipped pocket while a cool, protected 8 UMD case is strapped on tight in the front. I intend to lock-strap this baby on my book-bag so if portability is your top concern for your PSP case, this may NOT be what you're looking for.
I should also note that the rear of this case has 3x well-designed strapping options. A ring for a mountain key chain (included), a button clip, or a velcro strap. The case was clean w/ no loose threads, weird colorings, or markings. I dig it! :D
