| Summary: 20 Gigs of PORTABLE storage!
This is a 20 gig USB drive with its own screen and menuing system. It allows you to load files onto the FotoChute and from there to your PSP anytime, anywhere. Using only the FotoChutes menuing system, I was able to download music from my Mp3 player and upload it to my PSP without using my computer, all you need is the USB cable. Due to the ability to support folders, you can label each folder for the movie files it contains. I have 25 compressed movies on mine now, 600-700mg each, each in an individually labeled folder, about 8 hours of television shows and still have 6 gig of storage left for music/photos.
It's rechargeable and runs off the USB power from your computer when plugged into a USB port. It is only 3"x3" square and 3/4" thick and comes with its own case. It also works with many many digital cameras on the go. Now instead of packing my laptop, I toss this in my bag with my PSP. If you travel alot, you need this.

You still need a memory stick. This is just mass storage to go..that doesnt need a pc to move movies, music or photos too or from your PsP. It doesnt act as a local hard drive for the PsP..if thats your question.edited: Dec 13 2005

As far as I know..it doesnt CARE what files your moving. Thats just the stuff I know about. You gonna use yours for smuggling cocaine? I think it'll do ANY type of files.. if its really important to you..I'll try it for you. Give me the file type..and I'll try it.

If its a USB on the go device it will work like any other external hard drive in the world. It will hold any kind of data you see fit to put on it.
The "On the Go" part means that if you hook your PSP (and many other devices) up to it, it will see the PSP as an external device to itself and you can use it's menuing system to move files to and from the PSP's memory stick. This type of device is really useful if you want to carry a lot of files that you want to use on your PSP and you don't want to lug a laptop or other computer around with you.
So far I have used my Steno "On the Go" drive for just about everything and it works fine. I've used it to back up my PC, hold PSP movies, and transport files between home and work. The only thing I still want to try is loading a bootable Linux image on it to boot up a computer.
This device should do all of that with no problems, and it looks like it has a much better screen and menu system than my Steno drive.
