| Summary: Excellent
This is an excellently designed case.
Storage
What sold me on the case was the ability to have 3 games and 3 sticks with my PSP without having to carry anything else. 2UMDs are securely stored in the lid. They actually "snap" into the pockets. To pull them out you place your finger in a well found between the pockets. You lift and slide the UMD out. At first these were pretty tight and it was a bit difficult to get them out. But after 3 days of use they were broken in, making it easier to take out without losing any security.
There are two stick pockets in the base of the case. Just slide the stick in. To get it out one just pushes the stick out.
Protection
The case is very rigid while being pretty light. The PSP is held in place by pressure provided by padding on the left and right side of the case. The PSP is easy to take in and out of the case. The base is actually arched, resulting in space on the left and right side between itself and the PSP. The middle supports the PSP. I assume this provides some impact resistance should it be dropped base down.
The lid is attached to the base via rivets. It secures itself closed via a snap on the front. Pushing down on the lid result in very little flex and it does not appear to come near the screen. Opening up the lid I've found only slight marks from the directional pad on the lid UMD pocket.
Conclusion
This is such a well designed and good looking case that I'm not sure what could be better. The leather is nice and provides a high-quality/professional look to the PSP. The storage pockets are well placed and easy to use. Well worth the price.
