It was $70 and it's one of the best PSP accessories I have purchased yet.
Pros
Long long batter life for the cost. I know there are some that are supposed to work much longer, but for the cost this 4500mAh capacity battery is plenty. The battery is going on 11 hours right now with no signs of quitting - I am testing to see what a full charge will give, but it looks like it will come close to the 18 hours promised.
It feels just right in my hands and doesn't feel too bulky and it doesn't feel that much heavier really. The only battery I have seen that lasts longer is the iCell and there is nothing natural about having a big square block hanging off of my PSP. It's also very durable. Feels like brushed and coated metal and has a nice look to it. It has a very sturdy, quality feel to it. The battery attaches and removes very easily and it stays on solidly until "unlocked" from the PSP.
Cons
There is no access to the UMD. This is really a minor complaint but the only thing I can find wrong with it. The battery comes off quickly and easily enough that it's not that big of a deal to me.
Overall
I'm very happy with this battery overall. If it had some way to get to the UMD slot more easily I would have given it 100 but considering the nature of the battery, I don't see how that could be done. It just feels and looks right to me and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a large capacity battery purchase.
Yeah, good review, that hour time is impressive, how about updating us with the final figure? 18 hours would be madness for the psp! Now i want this one instead of the powercell lol.
OK... Constant on... (but not playing it the entire time) it actually went 20 hours before it died!
But I am sure if it was being used constantly it would be quite a bit less (probably even less than 18 hours), but still I was damn impressed!
