Summary: Great silicon case!
Previewed by zargonog
I got the black version and I think it looks great while on the PSP. I was previously using the standard soft case that came with the PSP and wanted something a little more permanent. I would get a PGP but I am a minimalist, and I really like the fact that the soft jacket adds very little weight or bulk to the PSP.

I usually just throw it in my pocket, so most people would expect massive amounts of lint and dust on it, but it really doesnt attract that much, and its very easy to wipe off and clean. You could easily take it off and run it under water if you wanted to, just make sure its dry before you put it back on.

In terms of protection, it provides the best protection in the silicon case department. Not only does it do a good job of protecting the outside parts of the PSP, but the included screen protector and UMD cover work extremely well. The only places that aren't protected are the buttons and ports, which is good because it allows for full functionality without having to take the case off.

I want to clear up some of the comments that people are leaving about this product. It doesn't cover any part of the screen, and if it does, it can be stretched and repositioned. It also does NOT cover any of the speaker holes. There are 2 open holes on the front and 2 on the bottom.

It does completely cover the bottom row of keys (volume, home, etc) but there are imprints of where they are and, at least I feel, are just as easily pushed as before.

I am rating it a 95 because it is the best in the silicon case department.

So does your grip improve with this? Does it tend to slip if your hands get a little sweaty?

no it doesnt smell at all lol. it may have that "fresh out of the box" hint, but other than that no.
yes OWA, it does improve your grip. I haven't had any 'sweaty palms' sessions yet, but i dont think it would be a problem, judging from how it repelled water when i cleaned it.

I have a black one aswell, not a bad case, but I really think it takes away from the 'slickness' and awesome appearance of the PSP. The good thing I found about it is that you don't have to be as carefull with your PSP and worry about scratches. The most anoying thing is that the screen protector doesn't line up with the top of the case. A couple of spare screen protectors would have been good aswell as mine is pretty scratched up... overall I wouldn't say 95... maybe 85? It's worth the money if a silicon case is what your after. It does NOT smell...

pspfreak, I've never used the javo edge case so i wouldn't know. but the big differences are the covers for the screen and umd.
