First Off, I have to say that I am a GTA Fan since the start, just loved the Thefting the Street Autos I <3 GTA.
Graphics - 10/10
The best. Everything looks beautiful with only minor pixelation. It looks in some ways even better then the PS2/Xbox counterparts. It hardly lags and for the first hour or so you'll just sit there in awe as you drive around, forgetting you're playing on a portable console..
Sound - 9.9/10
Everything sounds just like they did on the console counterparts. The voice-acting is SUPERB. The only reason this didn't get a 10 is I didn't feel the soundtrack lived up to games like San Andreas and Vice City, I recognize only one track..
Gameplay - 10/10
You can pick this up and just play, the people who have trouble with the analog nub probably have trouble with a regular analog stick. I picked it up, and was able to play without any issue right away.
There's so much to do in this game, between the regular story, the taxi, police, paramedic, and firefight missions, (to name a few of them.) really, what I should be covering is what this game lacks..
It lacks flying, but I'm looking at this as an advantage, as I really didn't fly all that much in the other GTAs, and no flying = no flying missions, which is an instant win.
Replayability - 10/10
This game is very easy to spend 100s of hours on, just driving around.. You can never predict what the police will do, and you can have tons of fun just ticking them off and getting chased.
There's over 200 missions and things to do in the game. It'll take you a VERY long time to get tired of the game.
Reviewer's Tilt - 10/10
I love this game, I have played this game till my hands hurt, and then 20 minutes later picked it back up and just dealt with the pain.. It's that good.
Buy/Rent - BUY
I say buy it, most rental stores won't have it, and really there's no way to go wrong with this game.. If you own a PSP, this is the one game you MUST own. You won't be able to finish it in a rental period. (yes, I'm aware some stores allow you to keep them for 30 days) It's long and will keep you coming back to it.
