Summary: Classic Horror!

This was a good remake of the original story. Well done. The UMD version of the movie is presented nicely. The menus work well. It has some commentary you can turn on for special features.

As for the movie itself, it was good. It presented itself as a true story (which I don't know if it was true, but if so makes it even a more chilling tale) and moved along quickly. There were few slow moments in the film.

The detail was great. This was no old school flick. The detail and realism was all there. It felt like it was happening. It may be a bit cheesy at a point or two, but if you are a fan of horror movies, then you probably enjoy some cheese.

I would watch it again. Which says a lot. I have to really enjoy a movie to watch it more than once. And this one would be good for any scary occasion.

By now you have to know the story. Watch the new take on it and be scared again.
