This is quite possibly, the most pointless review you'll ever read. Chances are by now, you'll have made your mind up on whether you're going to get this or not.

As well as that, pretty much every superlative in the English language has been done to death describing the game. You already know that it is GTA, with no shortcuts, just a full on GTA experience in your pocket.

So where do I go with the review? Originally, I thought let's not go too over the top, and let people know there are faults hidden away in the game. That's where the next problem comes, there's hardly any faults either!

Loading times are exceptional. Graphics are sharp and in my opinion, better than those that GTA3 on the PS2 pushed out. AI controlled pedestrians still go about their own business. And the car in front is still as infuriatingly inept at driving straight lines as ever!

As well documented, the missions have indeed been shortened for the pick up 'n' play experience, but they are still as fresh as you'd hope. Nothing too identical to what has gone before it.

And the control system, despite what you've heard, is more than adequate. Cars are just as responsive as you could ever want. The are button auto-targetting isn't too helpful at times, more often than not considering the pimp across the street to be more of a threat than the Sendacco hitman standing on your toes.

The only thing that constantly annoys, is the sheer ease to fall off your speeding motorbike. Way too easy to end up over the handlebars. But even then, you get rated on the distance you go flying, so at least you're still being competitive!

In all, it is the game you're hoping for. Rockstar deserve every credit for the miracles they've produced on one UMD. What excites me, is that with them already having announced a new GTA PSP game for 2006, that this is only a taste of things to come!

It's such a nice change from the standard review. You did a good job hitting most of the hot issues with the game. I'm going to play my copy a bit before I do my review (I plan on reviewing every item I get for my PSP).
