The Pelican Face Armor looked cool on the picture, I mean I really thought I needed it. Then I got home and opened it and found out that It connects to your PSP with two HUGE screws that screw in at the top by the usb spot.
With it screwed in it gained 1/2 an inch in height and it also became more bulky. I couldn't fit it in my case. And the times I could barly fit it in the case I would worry that it would break the games I had inside. FYI: The case I have is designed to hold 4 umd's and your PSP comfortably... With the Pelican Face Armor on I could barly fit my PSP in with just 2 UMD's.
The Plastic is very cheap. After one week It was cracked, full of scratches, and most of the black paint had scratched off.
The inside of the Face Armor isn't any better. There is a pice of cloth designed not to scratch your screen, which is the only good thing this there is on this thing. But it isn't all good. The screen collects every pice of dust possible. When you flip it open your PSP is COVERED in dust.
Gameplay: Playing a game with the Face Armor on is very hard. It gets in the way of the sholder buttons.
Stylish: This thing may look stylish a little bit in the pictures but if you see it on your PSP, and you see those massive screws, and the paint is almost gone and it's full of scratches, you see that this thing is very ugly. I was ashamed to have people see my PSP with it on.
Overall: This thing was not worth one penny! DON'T GET IT!!!!!!!!!
I like it. The faceplate does not get in the way of the shoulders (I don't flip it straight up). While it's flipped up it also adds a bit of shade when your outside. Plus it fits in my pelican case perfectly (of course it was made to fit).
